What some of our valued clients have to say about Whitsunday Holidays:

Perfect Location Lagoon Lodge is the perfect location, tucked away at the far end of Catseye Beach. Our 2 bedroom apartment was located on the first floor Lagoon 101. The apartment was spacious and accommodated 2 couples comfortably with each having their own ensuite, bedroom and privacy. The living areas were well equipped and tastefully furnished. The balcony stretched across the full double frontage of the apartment and a double day bed was most welcome to soak up the views. The apartment was clean and tidy and also included the additional convenience of an electric golf buggy to get around and see the sights. We stayed 14 nights and had the additional mid stay clean and linen change complimentary as part of our package. There are two pool options, one shared with guests of Hibiscus Lodge and the other shared with guests of Frangipani Lodge. We chose the Hibiscus pool and it was delightful. I suspect we were not staying at a busy time and in most cases had the entire pool to ourselves. It was immaculately clean and tidy as were the surrounding gardens, our compliments to the ground staff who also emptied our bins daily.Plenty of wildlife, kookaburras, kangaroos and the cockatoos which can be a pest if people insist on feeding them or leave food around. The location of this unit is very handy to walk the fringing coral reef which sits just out the front and the beach is lovely. Easy access to walking trails which can be quite challenging as we found out.Hamilton Island is a delight, all the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help tourists. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again in the future.

My family of three generations had a wonderful time at Hamilton Island and on visits to Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef.It was the house, Iluka, that contributed greatly to the magic of our too-short vacation and time together. The house is beautifully sited, carefully and sufficiently isolated, and positioned for views of the passage between Hamilton and Whitsunday Islands; and close enough to the Sunset Bar (with a steep climb) for views in most directions. The house is wonderfully appointed; all that is needed is to add your own food and drinks, supplied at understandable cost by a variety of island and Airlie Beach caterers. The upstairs lounge, dining and undercover outdoor areas have views, comfort, space and furniture, and an area that allows ease of movement for six adults and five children. Beds in all five bedrooms are comfortable, and two main bedrooms are spacious. There are plenty of bathrooms for a crowd. The accolades for Iluka come from the children. 'This is the best place for a holiday. Thanks, Grandad!" The infinity pool was used when the sun was warm enough, the cubby house had a few visits, and the trampoline was in constant use. The trampoline was as well-designed and as safe as it could be.The little things that matter were epitomised by the provision of two buggies, coloured distinctively in orange. No troubles finding the Iluka buggies when parked among scores of white buggies!Thankyou for the care taken in providing this magnificent house that shifts quickly into becoming a wonderful home. We had a memorable holiday together, and there is little doubt that the quality of Iluka contributed to those memories.Rod Campbell

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandson and I arrived on a flight 1-hour late but the valet service was there waiting for us at the airport with a large enough van to hold all of us and luggage. One reason we chose Frangipani 8 was that it was ground floor, both at the front door and rear patio. They provided high chair, crib and car seat for our 1-year old. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. (However, there were no paper towels and only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom.) It was very clean except there was a scent of ant spray. (We had to keep all food in the fridge otherwise ants would gather. Same with patio. Don't leave dropped food on the patio.) The weather was hot and humid but the air conditioner worked very well. (Too well; my kids wanted it colder than I did, and it stayed almost cold inside.) The location was great, literally the last condo on the Catseye Beach side. View was great. You cannot walk straight across the road to the beach. But, it is still a short walk. You do have to walk further (or drive the included golf cart) down to the resort where the lounge chairs are. This condo is right next to a shaded pool, but far enough way that noise was never a problem. We also could not hear any noise from the unit next to us or above us. You could drive the golf cart to almost everywhere on the island in almost 5 minutes. It had a full size fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher. The living area and master bedroom had large glass doors out to the patio. The 2nd bedroom was plain but was fine for us. The 2nd bathroom was fine but did not have a vent for the air conditioner. There were kangaroos (or maybe wallabies, I don't know the difference) and cockatoos outside the patio every day. I would consider staying here again if we return. They answered my several emails of questions before and while we were there.

This was our first visit to Hamilton Island and I am sure it won't be our last. We took advantage of the early morning $150 Virgin Australia direct flight from Melbourne to Hamilton Island and we were swimming by lunchtime. We stayed 10 days which allowed us to totally unwind. Yet there was as much or as little as you wanted to do. A day trip to the outer reef, catamaraning at Catseye Beach, Go Carting and beaching it, and suddenly our holiday was over. Shorelines 20 is great family accomodation. It is spacious, well appointed, clean and easy to get to. From the moment we landed at Hamilton Island, our valet was there with our unit's golf buggy that we had full use of during the stay. This allowed us to see all parts of the island at our own leisure. The views from Shorelines 20 are stunning morning or night. Access to the Shorelines pool is 20 steps from the unit. Access to the Edge pool is a short 30 metre walk down the hill. The Shorelines complex is so beautifully kept in such a quiet, family friendly environment both during the day and at night. It is so peaceful and people respect each other's space and privacy. The Shorelines 20 unit is a corner unit and the unit and balconies are bathed in so much natural light. Also Shorelines 20 is close to the bottom of the hill and the driveway which means that golf buggies from the complex are not whizzing past your door all the time. These are some of the advantages of Shorelines 20 over the other units in the complex. The great thing about Shorelines 20 is that although you are not staying at the main resort, you are able to use all the facilities and restaurants. As such you are away from all the Hamilton Island "hustle and bustle" , but can choose to use the resort facilities when you want to. It is the best of both worlds! I understand that a full scale supermarket will open on the island mid-2017. This will be even better for families like ours who then won't have to rely on ordering groceries from the mainland. We will be back for another holiday at Shorelines 20 in the near future.
