Starting out as a Royal Australian Navy minesweeper, WOLF now promises to redefine luxury yachting. Sitting at 4-storeys high, with 2 state bedrooms, 5 double rooms, and 2 double bunks, each with private ensuite, WOLF will sleep up to 18 guests and accommodates up to 65 for any function. The industrial kitchen, with cafe-grade coffee machine, enables inspiring dishes to be prepared onboard. Other luxurious appointments include a Jacuzzi and commercial-grade BBQ on the top deck, a full bar on the middle deck, jet-ski, paddle board, ski boat, trampoline, water slide and dive gear. This superb expedition ship was purpose built for visiting remote and remarkable locations in and around The Whitsundays. Your hosts are Lynne and John Boyce who together have more than 30 years experience sailing the Great Barrier Reef. Lynne has even authored a cookbook – “Gourmet Sailing – Delicious Dining on the Great Barrier Reef” and John is an expert at finding the perfect spot to weigh anchor. While built to accommodate many, the yacht has been repurposed to comfortably welcome up to 8 people onboard. Luxurious staterooms are a feature – each has its own ensuite. We’ve featured Jalun in The Whitsundays Blog before and we’re happy to report that Marcel and Alfie are still delighting onboard guests with their special brand of luxury sailing, starting with champagne on arrival at Hamilton Marina. Fresh-produce catering is a feature of Jalun. If you love seafood you can be sitting down to oysters, prawns, bugs, or salmon. The yacht’s cold press turns out fresh juices daily and the wines are hand selected to complement your evening meal. The yacht even has a pizza oven, gym and yoga equipment.
