Private Fishing Charters - PIRATE

The Pirate is a custom build 34 ft sports fisher built locally in Cairns in 2003. Made by an experienced marlin captain Brad Craft, who teamed up with master boatbuilder Dick Ward in 1999. Between them, they produced four sports fishing boats under the PIRATE brand. Two 31 footers and two 34 footers. The Pirate and Saltaire (34 ft game boats) are well-known in the Cairns sports fishing industry as excellent fish raisers.

This model has proven its sea-keeping ability in rough seas and agile, precise manoeuvrability to chase down a billfish quickly. With her good looks to match, the 34 footer certainly grabs the attention of many keen light tackle anglers. The boat is powered by twin Cummins B Series 280hp turbocharged six-cylinder diesel and fitted with Twin Disc gearboxes to control the transmission. With a comfortable cruising speed of 20 knots, we will have you at the fishing grounds in no time at all.
