Frangipani 004

Had an amazing time on Hamilton Island (Hammo).

Staying in Frangipani 004 gave us a ground floor terrace with sweeping views of the bay beyond Catseye Beach and bathing us with the morning sun.

The golf-buggy culture is amazing and there is plenty for kids of all ages to do. We loved the fact that all the pools were available to all guests and the beach is just fantastic. You can go out for ever, still be only chest high in the water and see/snorkel the tropical fish and turtles. Some great walks and hikes available but beware, the ones that say ‘moderate’ aren’t that moderate at all, you’ll need a good level of fitness to get up, down, up and down again.

Margaritas at One Tree Hill were amazing.

The best thing that we loved was that staying in a self contained apartment (2-bedroom for us) gave us the eat out/eat in option so you can adapt to your own budget. The bottle shop isn’t that much more expensive, the IGA is a little expensive(the water even more so) but they still have the normal IGA specials that all IGA’s have. The bakery is simply amazing.

It’s also a launch pad for Whitehaven Beach, the GBR for snorkelling, fishing.

And everywhere you want to go that isn’t a bar or restaurant, BYO and enjoy the weather, the views and the relaxation.
