Designed by renowned Australian Architect Walter Barda and officially opened in August 2009, the Hamilton Island Yacht Club is set to define Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays as one of the most desirable sailing destinations in the world.

The Clubs modern facilities include:

The unique design was inspired by the rich colours of the Coral Sea and the unique wing like patina copper roof resembles the soaring silhouette of full sails. The Club has cantilevered terraces that elegantly stretch over the waters of the Marina and Dent Passage giving you an abundance of options to enjoy this fantastic venue.

Bommie Deck

Offering a casual atmosphere, a snack style menu and a
wide array of hot and cold beverages, the Bommie Deck is the perfect place to sit back, relax and soak up the
elements and ambience of the Whitsundays.

The Bommie Deck Opens daily from 9.30am - 7.30pm, all
island Guests and Residents can enjoy a morning coffee,
lunch time snack or a few drinks while watching the sun set over Dent Island and the mainland.

Dress Code – Casual

If you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the Yacht Club the stunning Villas are the perfect choice.

Also designed by Walter Barda each Villa has an informal ambience and unique beauty that compliments the island setting. The Villas are set over three or four levels, and all capture spectacular views of Dent Passage and the stunning Whitsunday sunsets.

All include:
• spacious open plan living/dining room
•state-of-the art gourmet kitchen with Miele appliances
• four bedrooms and four bathrooms, comprising: master suite and walk-in robe and bathroom, two additional double bedrooms with ensuite, and a fourth bedroom/flexible space or media room.
• In addition, the Villas have separate laundries, fully ducted air conditioning and a private golf buggy.

Some of the Villa’s have their own plunge pool on the balcony and the complex features its own private pool open to Villa guests only.

The impeccable landscaping has been designed by internationally recognised landscape artist Jamie Durie, rounding off a distinctly Australian feel.

Hamilton Island has a long and rich sailing history and is the home of internationally renowned AUDI Hamilton Island Race Week - Australia's largest offshore sailing regatta held at the end of August each year.

Many cruising yachtsmen and super yacht owners base themselves at Hamilton Island Marina while they explore the 74 islands of Whitsundays. The marina itself caters for every type and size of vessel. There are 205 berths, all well protected in the case of bad weather and all have access to first-class marina facilities.

The Ketch & Cutter rooms feature high ceilings, natural light and a stunning backdrop across Dent Passage to Hamilton Island Golf Club. These rooms are ideal for premium conferences, product launches, tradeshows and gala dinners.

The Yacht Club Auditorium features fixed, ascending theatre style seating, perfect for meetings and presentations of up to 70 guests.
